Who is better for a dog collar or harness?
I have a 1 yr old shih tzu male named Conner. For now, he wears a necklace, but I think to get him a harness. Sometimes when I walk on a leash with a collar, he takes and sometimes it pulls so hard he chokes. I try always be cautious, so I did not shoot very hard because I do not want to hurt him. I think I read somewhere that the harnesses are better because then the dog's neck, throat will not get hurt. So who is better? A collar or harness? My next question is online, where can I order a harness? I searched in town for a harness but I could not find any (we do not have a PetSmart, Petco or any pet). Sometimes Conner was so excited when we go to Drive and it just draws especially if he sees someone he wants them or if he knows. When Conner was a puppy we took him to training obedience. The training has helped a little bit, but he still draws, especially when he gets angry. I do my best to control and prevent to do so.
I would get him a harness for my little shih tzu Rufus was the same way, so we bought him a harness and it draws only you can order one through gwlittle.com, petco.com, petsmart.com, walmart.com, Target, com they sell them where ever
