Global Warming: Burning My Island
Itâ € ™ s just a small valley on a tropical island, sitting just above the equator, in the western Pacific Ocean. Itâ € ™ s on weathered volcanic soils with a broad steep little mountain on one side and the road Senior High on the other passing over it. I live along the south bank of the valley and IA ™ € ve heard that all my LIFE.IT
Hiking at a leisurely pace Nice up the steep hill to the ravine a few hundred feet is totally worth it when I choose a place near the top to just be. Itâ € ™ true blessing to be able to that. Itâ € ™ his workout wonderful too. The tops of steep hills all the way down to near its base are covered with savanna grasslands. very steep slopes and throughout their basic are covered ravine forests. More Raving jungles. If you look in these hills, by far, the color of golden meadows are a wonderful contrast in the jungles dark green of the foothills. It staggers my mind to know that a hundred years ago, almost all these hills were dark Jungles green. all the way the GT, Wow.I And what a reason why Itâ € ™ s no longer there.
Fire was used as a tool mana € ™ s purposes almost from the moment of discovery.Â, it has also been here. And he became one of the best weapons to hunt deer here in southern jungles. What they do is set a fire. Just set a fire to heat and let rip. Help him if Câ € ™ s having some difficulty getting going. Because once Itâ € ™ left along the combustion and acres of land, a fantastic thing called life happens after. The new grass shoots emerge from the burned and blackened hills. And the deer are eating the tender shoots with the fierce hunter pending.
Oh, but all the other things that happen because a fire was set loose in hills. Certainly not the things that the arsonist would have thought about.it Letâ € ™ s just go in the direction that things happen. The fire is set and Câ Burning. € ™ s first thing, then atmosphere. a powerful greenhouse gas (carbon dioxide), a direct byproduct of vegetation burns, is stated in the atmosphere. But wait. We Wona ™ € t really feel its effects for a long period anyway. No, thata € ™ s not right. Global warming. Thata € ™ s right. nâ € ™ t it amazing that the collective burning of vegetation around the world still a major contributor to global warming?  Strike One.
While Itâ € ™ s burning an stray fire will often run into a fire jungle. So then stop, right? Thata € ™  It s true. Willa € "a possible time. ™ € But the fire Wona t stop once he meets jungle. Itâ € ™ s got to burn its way into a little running water and the bulk of the jungle. Thata € ™ ll take a few feet So to least. Fire reduce the size of the jungle if allowed to burn themselves.  The more you burn, the smaller your jungles. Strike two.
Now the fire has died and the hills are bare.i when the rain comes, and they will, so the soil wash IA away. € ™ ve never seen a hill escape being burned watered by soil erosion to sedimentation rains. in water. But this doesn € ™ t matter. The ocean is a great place. It Wona t ™ € hurt. In the grand scheme of oceans, not too much. For aquatic creatures in the rivers, the living coral reefs and the marine population that huge feed and live coral, the damage is absolutely life threatening. strike three. Â
Letâ € ™ s Add it all up. Weâ € ™ ve got the pros on one side, that new growth immediately after a fire is attractive to deer. They might be easier to catch. benefits only hunter. Weâ € ™ ve got the drawbacks of the other side and the list is awesome.I
- The air, our atmosphere receives an injection of greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to strong global warming. We know, without doubt, and global scale and further warming has caused, and is accelerating climate change could very well end today.
- There's jungles do not get our land.it smaller. This has already resulted in a loss of habitat for wildlife. The vibrant green of our jungles and the sea of gold in our savannas are replaced by the burned and blackened hills. Any wildlife, nests or burrows in the heat, throughout the food supply, well, thata € ™ s just their loss. And when the rain comes, we lose our most topsoil. no roots to keep place. in accelerated erosion of soil, I do despise.
.
- It is the sea, to include the rivers. Immediately after soil erosion is the impact of sedimentation. This soil transported spreads. It covers and when at last he stifled settles. Sedimentation is the bearer of death to the microscopic organisms, vegetation, fish and corals, to say the least. In aquatic environments, the destruction is great and long-lasting. Imagine that your air is filled with ash all time. What is the quality of your life be then? Â
The actions of this man hundreds of millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere every single day.s (It hurts to write, even down.)  There is no question, no debate. Much of that comes from burning constant natural landscape. We must change our way of things.Â
For the survival of our race, global warming must stop. Climate change must be stopped, otherwise reversed. If we refuse to do, anything will matter in fifty or a hundred years?  Spread the word. Take your Shared We may yet save us.
